Personalized, automated cloud security

imPAC Labs aims to facilitate easier cybersecurity asset compliance through automation and enhanced visibility. For customers, this means easier mobility of different defense mechanisms, greater integration of different cloud platforms as one visible system, and easily accessible architecture history. Altogether, imPAC’s goal is to make the broad cybersecurity frameworks less opaque by offering greater control and visibility to companies.

A word from our partner

He’s already IPO’d once – this time’s different

Spencer Rascoff grew Zillow from seed to IPO. But everyday investors couldn’t join until then, missing early gains. So he did things differently with Pacaso. They’ve made $110M+ in gross profits disrupting a $1.3T market. And after reserving the Nasdaq ticker PCSO, you can join for $2.80/share until 5/29.

This is a paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Please read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals. Under Regulation A+, a company has the ability to change its share price by up to 20%, without requalifying the offering with the SEC.

📈 Traction and Fundraising

  • Signed five customers since launching in January 2025

  • Part of the Varonis partner program, a highly regarded SaaS partner program in the security software world

👫 Founding Story

imPAC Labs was founded by CEO Deven Reddy, a repeat entrepreneur with a track record of building enterprise-grade security solutions, including SecurEnds and Charter Global. Reddy spent years working with highly regulated industries, where gaining visibility and control over cloud configurations was a constant challenge. Together with CPO and COO Brian Sledge, who was leading cloud developer experience at Morgan Stanley and previously headed platform engineering at E*TRADE, and CTO Chip Edwards, former Director of Cloud and Platform Engineering at E*TRADE, the team brings decades of hands-on experience managing complex, multi-cloud environments inside some of the most demanding enterprise infrastructures.

The idea for imPAC emerged as the team repeatedly dealt with enterprises that struggled to answer basic questions about their cyber environments, despite billions invested in cloud tooling. Whether it was identifying misconfigurations, proving compliance to auditors, or simply reporting to the board, existing solutions were either too fragmented or too shallow. The team realized that what was needed wasn’t just another dashboard, but a clear framework for enterprises to see their cloud infrastructure, fix the issues, and prove control to stakeholders. With imPAC Labs, they’re building exactly that: a solution rooted in real-world enterprise pain points.

💼 Opportunities

While the team doesn’t have any open job listings, they’re always on the lookout for new talent. Reply to this email with your resume, and we’ll connect you with imPAC!

🔮 Our Analysis

The AI boom has led to more cloud data processing, and with that, an increase in cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Our data is at greater risk than ever before in a time when data is more valuable and sought after.

Security needs have become even more complex and opaque. For instance, Google’s recent acquisition of Wiz for $32 billion, a cybersecurity provider, has set the stage for increased cloud security. With different tranches and hard-to-manage buckets (for example, how a firm's Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure servers interact), management and visibility into the overall security system become tricky. Currently, 66% of organizations find AI to have a dramatic impact on cybersecurity, but only 37% have the safeguards to assess the tools. In addition, with regional powers such as China ramping up its AI capabilities, there are geopolitical considerations for cybersecurity, and a national security argument on the part of the U.S. to protect sensitive data and information from adversaries.

imPAC Labs stands out in the cybersecurity space with its deep founding expertise and hard-to-replicate features. Operating as a layer within an organization’s broad cybersecurity, imPAC’s product allows administrators to more easily find potential vulnerabilities, heighten security, and more clearly offer information for audits and M&A diligence. As a firm grows, its cybersecurity operations can begin to silo themselves from each other. imPAC helps consolidate these silos, allowing for a unified security view of infrastructure, saving time and money for organizations.

While there are major players such as Palo Alto Networks and Wiz, imPAC differentiates by automating policy for two use cases: enforcement of fixes and evidence of exploitable vulnerabilities. In addition, competitors still expect a high level of technical expertise from their customers, while imPAC’s no-code solutions with plug-and-play tools allow less technical employees to codify specific rules. These core features are complemented by its in-house asset mapping capabilities, finding issues as they arise, and understanding how interconnected they are within the system. It also offers a time machine tool, allowing for full visibility of the whole cloud environment at any point in time. This also provides savings to companies by better demonstrating security posture to relevant stakeholders.

From having full asset visibility within minutes and streamlining audits to be done within a day, imPAC, as a relatively new player, has grown to be a dark horse (or should we say, dark unicorn-to-be) in cybersecurity.
