Three down, three to go!

…and SF Tech Week is a wrap!
What a rush. 😅

With three awesome events behind us, we’re coming back to LA this week to take on LA Tech Week with three more events.
Today’s article recaps the exciting week we had and showcases what’s to come. These events have been months in the making, and we’re just so excited to be able to share these experiences with you.
If you thought SF Tech Week was awesome, just wait for LA Tech Week. 🚀

After a 7 a.m. flight on Monday morning, we were ready for another crazy Tech Week.

First, we joined a packed audience at the Auth0 office for a fireside chat with Eric Simons, CEO of Bolt.new, the platform that lets you create stunning apps and websites with AI.
He shared valuable lessons from over a decade of entrepreneurship, including what might be one of the greatest pivots in Silicon Valley history.

If you’d like to hear more about that story and/or our takeaways, let us know in a reply to this email. You can also check out the full recording right here 👇️
Side note: Auth0 has a pretty awesome year-for-free offer for startups. Many thanks to them and our trusty cap table partners at Fidelity Private Shares for co-hosting!
Next, we (in collaboration with Mercury and Sydecar) challenged our appetites with a delicious omakase dinner, bringing together emerging managers and founding GPs building their investor journeys.
We’ll let the food speak for itself:

Probably the most sushi we’ve ever seen.
It was a pleasant, thoughtful, and intimate setting that turned 30 strangers into friends and names into memories.

It also happened to be a bit of a pregame for our next event…
A full-on afterparty with Bolt.new and our friends over at Flite (Unicorner cover 2024), featuring the one and only D.O.D.

Unicorner x Flite x Bolt x D.O.D
That night, San Francisco showed up (D.O.D told us himself). The venue, one of the largest in the city, was filled to the brim with high spirits and… ahem… spirits.
We had an incredible night, as did many of you.

So, cheers to another SF Tech Week in the books. We’ll be back next year. ✌️
But we’re not done yet…

The good times are far from over.
We’re coming to LA this week with three more events: a founder fireside, an investor dinner, and an afterparty to cap off this two-week west coast tour.
You know the drill.
We’re starting off with our LA investor omakase tomorrow night. 25 emerging managers and founding GPs are joining us and the Mercury and Sunset teams for a quintessential LA dinner in Beverly Hills. We’re already at capacity for our dinner, but you can join the waitlist.
Next, we’ll be hosting a fireside with beehiiv founder and CEO Tyler Denk on Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. (moderated by a familiar friend of Unicorner, Molly O’Shea).
We’re excited to partner with PwC on this one to help startups stay compliant and investor-ready. 🤝
And of course, what’s a good Tech Week without an afterparty?
We’re excited to partner with Cerebral Valley to bring you The Frontier, a private afterparty set in an iconic 1920s supper club beneath the hills of Los Angeles.
Come join us on Thursday night and lets cap off one more memorable week. 🌴
