🥉 #3: Foldink 🥉

On the note of sci-fi, introducing Foldink. Foldink envisions a future where human tissue can be 3D printed. In this future, someone has to make the bioprinters, and someone has to manufacture the bioinks, the material used by the bioprinters. Foldink has thought this through and is currently offering bioinks while continuing with R&D. The potential upsides if Foldink succeeds are tremendous, and we believe it has a real shot, earning it the bronze medal.

Yet the invasive nature of many such tools has skeptics worried about the potential effects on the brain.
